Preparing for ADCD 2009 annual show

I enjoyed my first time visit to the beautiful campus of the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design (RMCAD), volunteering my time to help the Art Directors Club of Denver (ADCD) prepare for their annual show, which displays the work of Denver’s creative community.

Visit adcd.com to purchase tickets for the show, a night with Denver’s talented creatives that includes dinner and an opportunity to see advertising, design and photography at its finest.

Over 425 entries were submitted and the judges narrowed it down to roughly 100 pieces to be displayed at the show.

The event is at the Sherman Event Center on September 25th.

Photographers, art directors, designers and professors volunteered their Saturday morning/afternoon to help prepare for the show.

I've learned that working with the ADCD is a good experience! The people are great and I feel empowered to be more involved with my creative community. I'm looking forward to becoming a member of ADCD and more days of volunteering and inspiring events...!
